Travel & staying nearby

Fly into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Plan to arrive before Sunday’s rehearsal; Saturday’s welcome toast is optional.

Our sample bases are Audubon Cottages and Maison de la Luz. No room block or booking code is active in this demo.

Arrange your airport ride and hotel booking. Wedding-day group transport is provided from the getting-ready locations.

Confirm costs with Bea or Milo before purchasing. If the budget is uncomfortable, tell us privately—we’ll work it out together. No additional gift is expected.

Confirm before you leave

• Recheck pickup times and your getting-ready address.
• Send travel delays to Camille or Theo.
• Give June a copy of any assigned toast or reading.
• Guardians confirm child pickup, seating, and bedtime plans.

All times below are New Orleans local time. If weather changes the plan, June confirms the new meeting point; don’t relocate based on a guess.

Welcome toast

The Elysian Bar · Festive cocktail attire. Drop in when you arrive.

Ceremony rehearsal

Marigny Opera House. Arrive by 4:15 PM, dressed comfortably. All 12 party members and both children’s guardians attend. Practice entrances, where to stand, and who holds what.

Rehearsal dinner

Paladar 511 · Garden cocktail. Wedding party, children with their guardians, and family attend; partners join when named on the invitation.

Camille & Theo

Camille helps with Bea’s bouquet during vows. Theo holds the real rings; Oliver carries a practice pillow. Both check in with June before speeches. Everyone else follows June’s cues and helps gather for photos.

Ella & Oliver’s grown-ups

Ella’s guardian Marianne Laurent and Oliver’s guardian Henry Bennett remain responsible throughout. Bring them at 3:30 PM, stay for photos, and sit near the aisle. If either child opts out, their guardian walks with them or they sit out—no pressure.

After walking, both children sit with their guardians. Parents handle meals, bathroom trips, and departure; the wedding party is not a childcare service.

After “I do”

Follow June’s second-line and reception-transfer directions. Cocktails at Maison de la Luz from 5:30 PM; grand entrance at 6:30, dinner at 6:45, toasts at 7:30, dancing from 8.

Return shuttles use the Carondelet Street entrance every 20 minutes from 10 PM through the 11 PM send-off. Children may leave earlier with their guardians. Keep your belongings together and check the green room before leaving.
